a bunch of amazing people worldwide (see the map) who organize a party in their hometown to raise money for an amazing cause. And its all organized via Twitter and FB.

This year, money was raised for Concern Worldwide: a non-profit organization that builds schools and helps provide education for the poorest kids in the world. Imagine the difference you can make in a kids life when all of a sudden… they go from no chance for education to a day when they wake up and go to a proper school with a proper teacher.

Honolulu’s Twestival was organized by the amazing Vernon Brown and WTF fanboy Aloha Bruce (just kidding Bruce!). Local celeb Traci Toguchi was the MC and did a bang up job.
